Tis The Season…

It’s that time of year again… the time when the year is almost over… when we scramble to end the year on a high note, maybe that is just me ūüėČ

I am ending the year with not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 virtual runs!

Why? To kick start 2017, to avoid the dreaded holiday weight gain, to have fun with my family, to stay active during hectic times and of course for the BLING!

I was hoping to be able to do a non virtual run with my family but paying $45 per person for a 5k and or not being allowed to use a stroller for a so called¬†family¬†5k is cramping my plans … really? really guys? a FAMILY 5k ¬†that says bring your kids/ entire family doesn’t allow strollers? not cool. I totally understand a race not wanting strollers but don’t call your self a family event… anyway…. we are taking ¬†the¬†Elfie run and Rock n Roll’s Winter Runningland¬†and doing our own thing, starting new traditions and keeping healthy (side note go register for them and you can have this awesome bling too!)

I am way too crazy super excited for the bonus snow globe medal, how cool is this?

Hopefully my internet doesn’t fail me and I can get my hands on these awesome Pro Compression Holiday socks!!!

Happy running!

I don't understand why the majority of events, especially "family friendly" can't be stroller friendly too. Start in the back, and make it off the course before it closes and I don't see why anyone should care. Wish RD's would think about that stuff, what a great example to be setting!

right? i'm not saying people with strollers should line up in front or that they should be in like the NYC marathon and we aren't about to mow people down with them either so for a 'family' or even local smaller event it shouldnt be a big deal ;)
