Essential Foods

AKA these are foods I usually ALWAYS have around

Of course fruits and vegetables are seasonal and vary by region so I do my best to keep in season produce on hand at all times. I am also 100% positive that I have left at least a few things out… oops

Non-perishables:

Canned beans (black, kidney, pinto, chic peas, etc.)

Rice (Brown, White, Yellow)

Pasta (Every and any kind you can imagine I have it)

 

 

Pumpkin

Cranberry Sauce

Coconut Milk

Flour

Canned tomatoes

Vegetable Broth/cubes

Nuts (cashews, peanuts, walnuts, etc)

Oats (Rolled, Old Fashioned)

Cereal

Ready to make oatmeal

Taco Shells

Chocolate chips (for baking)

Baking Soda/powder

Ener-g (egg replacer)

Pancake/Waffle mix

Peanut Butter

Almond Butter

Tea (Chai, Roobois, Black)

Sauces/Condiments/Spices

Soy sauce

Vinegar (Rice, Apple Cider, Balsamic)

 

 

Olive oil/Canola oil

Salsa

Tomato Sauce (or supplies to make)

Garlic powder

Chile Powder

Tumeric

 

Basil

Cinnamon

Thyme

Parsley

Black pepper

Pink Salt

Red pepper flakes

Nutmeg

Sesame Seeds

BBQ sauce

‘Butter’ (Earth’s best non soy kind – sometimes I have dairy butter also)

Maple Syrup

 

Fruit/Veggies:

Lettuce (Spring mix with herbs is my fav)

Bananas

Spinach

Avocado’s

Apples (season permitting)

 

Strawberries (season permitting)

Oranges (season permitting)

Sweet Potatoes

Tomatoes

Red Potatoes

Onions

Garlic

 

Parsnips (season permitting)

Carrots

Celery

Kale

Peppers (red, green, orange, yellow)

Cucumbers

Zucchini (season permitting)

Corn (season permitting)

Pears (season permitting)

Blueberries (season permitting)

 

Perishables (besides fruit and veggies)

Hummus

Tofu (occasionally)

Milk (Usually Almond, sometimes Hemp or Soy)

 

 

Cheese (Cheddar, Feta, Parm – sometimes)

Frozen fruit (strawberries,  blueberries, bananas, mango)

Veggie Burgers  (Hillary’s and Dr Pregers)

Frozen veggies (green beans, spinach, broccoli, peppers, corn )

Frozen Tortillas

FieldRoast ‘Frankfurter’

Fruit Bars (like popsicles)

Ezekiel Breads

Sweet potato fries (Alexia ones are delish!)

Sorbetto – (The Talenti chocolate is killer!)

Frozen Waffles (Love the Chia seed ones)

    WOW! I have a lot of these on hand...but there certainly some (several) things "missing" from my stash LOL A relatively new "staple" thing for me are sweet potatoes. I used to hate the canned sweet potatoes (with marshmallows)...but I LOVE the real ones.
